Bloduewedd

Part of the Celtic myth series, “Bloduewedd” is my first painting that embodies the deep psychological connection to natural environments we all experience, be it on a beach, a walk in a wood or just being in our gardens. The main image draws inspiration from a Welsh myth where a young maiden is created from wild flowers. However, she never becomes fully human but a force of nature in her own right.
